This position is a Cooperative Agreement position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University in Environmental Science or a science related field; AND Two (2) years of experience as an Environmental Specialist or related field DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Establish priorities for the Range and Training Land Assessment (RTLA) monitoring program.
Plan, implement, and manage a variety of assessments that depict the availability, suitability, accessibility, and capacity of training lands for military trainers.
Collect, manage, analyze, and report data using a number of basic analytic techniques.
Run computer programs to enter, verify, manage, and manipulate data and data files in databases and/or geographic information systems.
Develop and update the RTLA protocol and keep it current.
Provide support to the Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance (LRAM) program through the identification, monitoring, and prioritization of LRAM projects.
Identify high priority LRAM sites and evaluate and document the effectiveness of LRAM projects, including soil improvement and re-vegetation efforts.
Assist with LRAM field work, including seed spreading, fertilizer application, herbicide application, as well as other duties.
Provide technical expertise to prepare scopes of work.
Coordinate RTLA resource requirement by assisting in the preparation of work plans for the RTLA component, including a budget plan, personnel and field equipment expenses, and a detailed description of anticipated fieldwork.
Assist with the coordination of LRAM resource requirements.
Provide technical guidance to other Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) staff at Camp Blanding.
Interact with installation, federal, state, and other agency staffs.
Train and supervise seasonal RTLA field personnel.
Provide data and support to assist ITAM coordinator with prioritization of Sustainable Range Awareness (SRA) and Training Requirements Integration (TRI) efforts and effectiveness.
Participate in SRP and ITAM conferences, workshops, and meetings to enhance understanding of program requirements and report on RTLA related topics as necessary.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
