Director Practice Mgmt

Position Purpose:
The Practice Management Director is responsible for the strategic and daily planning, implementation, and operations of all clinics under Shands Starke Regional Medical Center, referred to collectively as Shands Medical Group Starke. The number of providers and locations can change, but as of May 2017, consists of 13 multi-specialty providers in five locations, including a rural health clinic, and contracted general surgical practice, encompassing 40 FTE's. Responsibilities of the Director are typical to the position, including: growth, finance, quality, service, and personnel. Reporting to the hospital CEO, and working closely with the regional practice administrator, this leadership position is of high visibility, responsibility and accountability for performance.
Qualifications
Education : Undergraduate Degree
Experience : Minimum of 3 years of clinic management experience
Qualifications : Must have working knowledge of clinic coding, and detailed knowledge of billing, collections, and AR management processes. Excellent computer skills, including literacy with Word, Excel and Athena. Must possess exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines. Able to remain calm, productive, and optimistic under stress. Energetic, adaptable, with a bias towards action. An extrovert that thrives on human interaction, is personable, professional, and polished. A gifted coach, who innovates solutions, and can solve complex challenges quickly. Understands motivation of different peoples across organizations. Effective listener, speaker, writer, communicator, presenter. Is strategic, as well as operational. Requires excellent physical and mental stamina; must be able to sit and be mobile for extended periods, including walking, bending, and lifting required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
