THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER, Position Description Number D1259000 and is part of the FL SMO, National Guard.

### Responsibilities
As a, PRODUCTION CONTROLLER, GS-1152-07 , You will be establishing plans, schedules, and controls the maintenance and repair of a variety of vehicles and equipment such as combat vehicles, heavy-duty engineering and mobile equipment, tracked vehicles, towed and self-propelled artillery, communications and electronic equipment, guided missile systems, and small arms. Implement maintenance plans and monitors progress of accomplishments. Provide status of equipment, maintenance actions in progress, and location of equipment. Input data regarding work order information, status changes, supply updates, and other pertinent information. Make on-the-spot adjustments to repair priorities on routine or reoccurring processes necessitated by unscheduled maintenance requirements.

This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard, required prior to the effective date of placement.
Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.

May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
National Guard Membership is required.
### Qualifications
INTRODUCTION: This position is located in the Joint Forces Headquarters-State, Logistics Directorate (J-4/G-4), Surface Maintenance Facility. The purpose of this position is to plan, schedule, control, and monitor the status of equipment maintenance; and to assist a higher-graded Production Controller.
AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service "under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709", and is open to Category 1 & 3 Only. Category 1: All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency WITH dual FL National Guard military membership; Category 3: All current military members of the Florida National Guard. First consideration will be given to Category 1.
PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard.
Military Grades: Warrant Officer and Enlisted- CW2 and below
Compatible Military Assignments: WOBR: 91,92,94; ECMF: 91,92,94; EMOS: 88M
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience, education or training in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-07- Must have at least 12 months of experience, education or training working with people from various levels and backgrounds. Experience with a general knowledge of the functions and procedures of production control, records, references, and techniques for developing production control data. Experience assisting or maintaining workflow.
