The Chemours Starke facility (previously known as DuPont) is located between Jacksonville and Gainesville, Florida. Starke is conveniently located to most of the beautiful beaches in Florida and Georgia and cities that are home to professional sports teams i.e. Orlando Magic, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Jacksonville Jaguars. Orlando is only a couple of hours away and has many attractions including Disney World and Universal Studios.
Starke has an Electrical Engineering position available; this position will report to the site Unit Manager. The Chemours Starke site is part of the Titanium Technologies business and focuses on the mining of various heavy minerals including titanium ores and zircon sand. The site is a stable site with 70 years of active mining and an existing well established product mix as well as an approved project to further expand the capability of the site.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Performs engineering assignments (production, maintenance, process, capital projects, etc.) involving the application of established electrical technology and principles and often requiring coordination with other engineering and functional competencies to provide economical and expedient task implementation. May be assigned to lead the electrical function associated with project. May also lead commissioning, startups, and troubleshooting.
Primary Objectives:
Proactively identifying, troubleshooting and resolving issues to support and improve efficiency of the manufacturing facilities
Daily monitoring of electrical performance in the facility
Work with plant operational teams to drive continuous improvement efforts related to electrical performance
Support for new product and technology introductions to the plant, interfacing with others in the company
Execution of detailed projects covering electrical aspects of manufacturing
Implement the plant electrical preventive and predictive programs
To conduct cost, material and efficiency studies
Participate in project teams and all activities related to electrical technical support.
Electrical documentation
Design and development of operations protocols, processing equipment installations and plant upgrades related to electrical installation
To conduct field assessments and audits on electrical equipment.
To lead the site electrical team consisting of 1 direct report and 7 indirect reports
To lead and implement all Chemours standard/policy related to electrical
Education: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or significant previous experience in similar position.
Strong values on safety awareness and execution
Proficient in operating at least one computerized business operating system and in PC Software such as basic Microsoft Office (word and Excel)
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated proficiency in accuracy and attention to detail
Good time management capability
Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze potential manufacturing problems and initiate appropriate solutions
Familiar with problem solving skills
Ability to organize and run effective meetings
Proven ability to:

Awareness of Safety Health and Environment legislation.
Familiar with electrical legislation.
Hands on experience on plant electrical maintenance.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
