MANAGEMENT ANALYST (TITLE 5)
As a, MANAGEMENT ANALYST, GS-0343-09, you will gather and organize narrative and statistical information using established methods, techniques, and precedents, such as questionnaires, interviews, review of computer data, and comparison of past and present records.
Work processes are observed to identify such problems as to work flow and processes, distribution, forms and record keeping, span of control, staffing ratios, and organizational structure.
Conduct troubleshooting and management studies to ascertain the need for changes in existing management systems or methods of operation such as work processes, functional responsibility, operating techniques, organizational structure and other factors effecting the efficient and economical use of available resources.
AREA OF CONSIDERATION:
This position is in the Exceptive Service under the authority of Title 5, P.
L.
114-328, Sections 932 and 1084 (FY17 NDAA) and is open to on board (Tenure 1, 2 and 3) federal employees/technicians (T32 and T5) within the agency.
Tenure can be located in block 24 on your latest SF 50.
Permanent Change of Station (PCS) MAY be authorized.
Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard.
SPECIALIZED
Experience:
GS-09 must have at least one year experience at the GS-07 level in the normal line of progression through federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that provided you with a working knowledge on the state National Guard structures, functions, procedures, and techniques.
Experience applying practices, theories, techniques, and methods of management analysis of Army National Guard Programs.
-OR- 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.
