LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (T32)

As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (T32), GS-0346-9/11, you will serve as an advisor to the Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist on all Combat Service Support (CSS) STAMIS systems and Automated Logistical Programs; identify funding requirements to support SASMO operations, justify and submit budget requirements for State operating budget, and execute funds received; serve as a Systems Administrator for all STAMIS systems and Automated Logistical Programs and as the technical expert within the state/territory responsible for providing technical and functional guidance for serviced STAMIS and Automated Logistical Programs; troubleshoot diagnostic and resolution of technical problems identified in trouble tickets and initial setup of serviced STAMIS computers; serve as the primary point of contact for Functional Administrators and users of the serviced database(s); provide direction and guidance to supported CSS STAMIS users in the submission of automated systems problem reports and/or change proposals; serve as the primary point of contact on all CSS automation continuity of operations plan (COOP), development, and execution; perform quasi-supervisory duties and responsibilities of the office such as planning overall work operations, setting priorities, and establishing objectives for the mission of the office. AREA OF CONSIDERATION:
This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709, and is open to Category 1 & 3 Only. Category 1:
All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency WITH dual FL National Guard military membership; Category 3:
All current military members of the Florida National Guard. First consideration will be given to Category 1. PCS:
Permanent Change of Station (PCS) MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard. MULTIPLE LEVEL RECRUITMENT:
This position is being advertised using multiple level recruitment to allow for consideration of applicants with the basic skills necessary to develop to the full journeyman level of the position. If a less than fully qualified applicant is selected, incumbent may be trained and developed until proficiency is gained to full journeyman level. If less than fully qualified individual is selected for this position, the position has potential to Grade 11. MILITARY GRADES:
Enlisted/Warrant Officer, CW3 & Below TEMPORARY PROMOTION- For Title 32 selectees only:
This is an obligated position (incumbent is on a military tour). If a permanent employee in the Title 32 excepted civil service accepts this position, he/she will retain their permanent status AND return to their previous Title 32 position once incumbent returns from military duty. If the military tour member, who has reemployment rights to this position, does not exercise his/her reemployment rights within 5 years, the selected individual may remain in this position without further competition. INDEFINITE APPOINTMENT-For Current Title 5 selectees only:
This is an obligated position (incumbent is on a military tour). If an on-board individual employed in the Title 5 excepted civil service accepts this position, he/she will receive an indefinite appointment (Tenure 3). If a Reduction-In-Force occurs and/or the military tour member exercises reemployment rights to this position, the indefinite appointee will have no reemployment rights to any other position and may be separated. If the military tour member, having reemployment rights to this position, does not exercise his/her rights within 5 years, this position may be converted to a permanent status without further competition. Experience:
Must have experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
GS-09 must have at least 24 months experience, education, or training involving detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities); experience integrating actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to meet program goals; experience interpreting and applying regulations, laws or practices; experience planning and organizing work assignments. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
GS-11 must have at least 36 months experience, education, or training identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan; experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan; experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions; experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperation to perform specific tasks, and complying with regulations, laws, or practices.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
