MANAGEMENT ANALYST (TITLE 5)

As a, Management Analyst, GS-0343-09, you will review organizational information (i.e., TDA organization and function manual), previous audit and inspection reports, applicable Department of Army (DA) or United States Air Force (USAF) regulations, and activity mission statements to identify tentative sub-objectives or firm objectives based on the role of the audit assignment. Perform management studies of organization's auditable entity to identify potential problems such as reviewing operating procedures and management practices of the activity. Prepare audit lead sheets to identify potential weaknesses in internal controls. Conduct troubleshooting and management studies to ascertain the need for changes in existing management systems or methods of operation such as work processes, functional responsibility, operating techniques, organizational structure and other factors effecting the efficient and economical use of available resources. AREA OF CONSIDERATION:
This position is in the Excepted Service under the authority of Title 5, P.L. 114-328, Sections 932 and 1084 (FY17 NDAA), and is open to US citizens interested in helping the Department of the Army meet our mission requirements in Management Analyst. PCS:
Permanent Change of Station (PCS) MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard. NOTE#1- Selectee must be Financial Manager Level 2 qualified within 2 years of employment. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
GS-09 must have at least one year experience at the GS-07 level in the normal line of progression through federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that provided you with a working knowledge on the state National Guard structures, functions, procedures, and techniques. Experience applying practices, theories, techniques, and methods of management analysis of Army National Guard Programs. -OR- 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL. B or J.D., if related Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree -OR- A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to the required experience Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
