LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (T32)

As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (T32), GS-0346-9, you will monitor and input maintenance and Class IX supply transactions; coordinate for the repair of ISM items; and review computer outputs from logistic STAMISS, EMIS and others in order to analyze and monitor the ISM program; analyze production problems or slow-downs and provides recommendations used in developing plans of action to correct supply and transportation problems; visit LSM work sites to observe maintenance operations and assist sites in improving production; proactively review over-age maintenance jobs and makes recommendations as to disposition; monitor cost information, and based on cost factors, participate in the decision-making of the assignment of ISM work-loading among area work sites and in the selection of repair candidates for the ISM program; take action to resolve logistics problems; perform other related duties as assigned. AREA OF CONSIDERATION:
This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709, and is open to Category 1 & 3 Only. Category 1:
All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency WITH dual FL National Guard military membership; Category 3:
All current military members of the Florida National Guard. First consideration will be given to Category 1. PCS:
Permanent Change of Station (PCS) MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard. MILITARY GRADES:

Experience:
Must have experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
GS-09 must have at least 24 months experience, education, or training involving detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities); experience integrating actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to meet program goals; experience interpreting and applying regulations, laws or practices; experience planning and organizing work assignments.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
