LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32)

As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), GS-0346-9, you will develop, implement and evaluate the logistics and property accountability policies for the organization; oversee and review unit level feeder reports; analyze and/or prepare the logistics and equipment readiness areas of the organizational readiness report; maintain property book accountability; establish hand receipt files for each unit; assure that all authorized non-expendable property is on hand or has been requisitioned; ensure compliance with the command supply discipline program, command maintenance discipline program, and other directed command inspection programs; coordinate with the state level headquarters and subordinate units of the organization on the lateral transfer and/or turn in of excess property; establish quality procedures and oversee the edit of all property management source documentation; provide guidance and funds management for all decentralized logistics funds; provide technical guidance and assistance to all organizational logistic personnel pertaining to the accountability of all property assigned to the organization. AREA OF CONSIDERATION:
This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709, and is open to Category 1 & 3 Only. Category 1:
All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency WITH dual FL National Guard military membership; Category 3:
All current military members of the Florida National Guard. First consideration will be given to Category 1. PCS:
Permanent Change of Station (PCS) MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard. TEMPORARY PROMOTION- For Title 32 selectees only:
This is an obligated position (incumbent is on a military tour). If a permanent employee in the Title 32 excepted civil service accepts this position, he/she will retain their permanent status AND return to their previous Title 32 position once incumbent returns from military duty. If the military tour member, who has reemployment rights to this position, does not exercise his/her reemployment rights within 5 years, the selected individual may remain in this position without further competition. INDEFINITE APPOINTMENT-For Current Title 5 selectees only:
This is an obligated position (incumbent is on a military tour). If an on-board individual employed in the Title 5 excepted civil service accepts this position, he/she will receive an indefinite appointment (Tenure 3). If a Reduction-In-Force occurs and/or the military tour member exercises reemployment rights to this position, the indefinite appointee will have no reemployment rights to any other position and may be separated. If the military tour member, having reemployment rights to this position, does not exercise his/her rights within 5 years, this position may be converted to a permanent status without further competition. Experience:
Must have experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
GS-09 must have at least 24 months experience, education, or training involving detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities); experience integrating actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to meet program goals; experience interpreting and applying regulations, laws or practices; experience planning and organizing work assignments.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
