HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY)

As a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY), GS-0203-5/6/7, you will review documentation for sensitive, complex cases and ensure that all levels of legal, medical, and administrative review have been completed before the medical board; research and obtain all necessary relevant information regarding cases and issues; analyze case information; outline options; and recommend appropriate action; ensure that regulatory requirements related to the specific action are met; identify gaps or inconsistencies in the record and initiates action or interviews personnel to obtain needed data; provide explanations and interpretations of rules, regulations, procedures, and requirements pertaining to actions taken or recommended. AREA OF CONSIDERATION:
This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709, and is open to Category 1:
All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency Category 3:
All current military members of the Florida National Guard; and Category 4:
All individuals who qualify for membership in the Florida National Guard and are willing to become T32 Dual Status technicians. First consideration will be given to Category 1. PCS:
Permanent Change of Station (PCS) MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard. MILITARY GRADES:
Enlisted, E6 & Below GENERAL
Experience:
Must have administrative or clerical experience, education, or training which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, and experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
GS 05 must have at least 6 months experience, education or training that provided knowledge of general office work which may include but is not limited to:
answering telephones, receiving and distributing mail and maintaining records; experience following oral or written instructions to accomplish work; experience establishing and retrieving files and information; experience using common computer software designed for word processing. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
GS 06 Must have at least 9 months experience, education or training that provided knowledge of general office work which may include but is not limited to:
answering telephones, receiving and distributing mail and maintaining records; experience following oral or written instructions to accomplish work; experience establishing and retrieving files and information; experience using common computer software designed for word processing. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
GS 07 must have at least 12 months experience in the interpretation and application of regulations, procedures or laws; experience that provided a working knowledge of administrative functions; experience performing personnel transactions; experience working independently and setting priorities with very little supervisory control. MULTIPLE LEVEL RECRUITMENT:
This position is being advertised using multiple level recruitment to allow for consideration of applicants with the basic skills necessary to develop to the full journeyman level of the position. If a less than fully qualified applicant is selected, incumbent may be trained and developed until proficiency is gained to full journeyman level. If less than fully qualified individual is selected for this position, the position has potential to Grade 07 .

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
